I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS UNIQUE TO MY FAMILY OR WHAT. I HAVEN'T SEEN ANYBODY MENTION THIS, BUT THE BEST WAY TO FINISH OFF YOUR POACHED EGG ON TOAST, IS TO POUR SOME WARM MILK OVER TOP AND THEN ADD SALT & PEPPER. ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!!!

I think Jeffery is by far the best suited for a show. However, I think that not only is Jamika the winner, but that the decision was made early. She has been all over the media already. She was featured in a commercial for the Art Institute during the premiere of Top Chef: Masters. Curious. Also consider that Jen was sent home the first week for making a side dish (gourmet green beans) and Jamika won the second week by making a side dish (spicy collard greens). Curiouser and curiouser.

Brett gives me the creeps and I don't like Debbie because she would not take the heat for her bad decisions until forced to do so.

I discovered a tip that changed forever my life of egg-poacher: crack the (extra fresh) egg into a metal ladle and dunk everything into boiling water with a splash of vinegar in it. The genius is by epicurious and you can see their enlightening video in my post here:
