Meatball shop!!
Freshman year of college there was a burger cart that parked right in front of our dorm. My roommate and I became friends over midnight cheeseburgers from this delicious cart - they were greasy and salty and perfect. When working/bullshitting lasted until midnight, these burgers were the perfect study break. I also blame them entirely for the 10 pounds I gained the first semester of Freshman year. When my college introduced late-night meal plans, the cart stopped coming, and I wept.
Mine would be midnight cheeseburgers from the food truck (Ducky's I think) that parked outside of my dorm freshman year of college with my first roommate. It was our favorite study break, and I think the reason we became friends. And the reason I gained about 10 pounds freshman year. I cried when they closed. They were the perfect amount of grease and always delicious.
Can anyone recommend a good happy hour near Lincoln Center? My coworkers and I want to expand our horizons past P.J. Clarke's and Rosa Mexiano, which are fine but pricey. We'd love to find a good happy hour, but want to avoid the college bars along Amsterdam Ave. Help, please!
