Cook the Book: 'The New Mediterranean Diet Cookbook'
spanikopita...hands down! my dad makes it the best.
Ed Levine's Serious Diet, Week 27: One Man's Honest Attempt at Portion Control
I was going to drop you a comment about exercise, but I see I've been beat to the punch. Have you ever though about the "accidental work-out"? Dog-walking, bike-riding, hiking, swimming, etc? I find it's much more satisfying than a gym for a lot of reasons, although others would argue against me for its overall effectiveness. Hah.

Cook the Book: Old-Fashioned Cornflake Pie
Cereal can do no wrong! :)
Amy's Bread Cafe: A Go-To Sandwich Spot. What's Yours?
re:Jas126--They are!
I love Amy's! I am fortunate enough to work right next to the Chelsea Market and I go there constantly. Amy's is wonderful, and the folks behind the counter are always great.
Cook the Book: 'Sweety Pies'
My best friend in college made blueberry pie from scratch (the crust, the innards, the works) from blueberries she picked herself, illegally, by scrambling underneath a hillside fence and perusing the hill for them. She almost died doing it on more than one occasion, but the pies were ceaselessly delicious and prevail as the best in show to this day!
Dinner, If I'm Feeling Ambitious
woah! these suggestions are all amazing. Pumpkinbear wins, though! I'm making myself some pizza tonight! :)
Van Halen Lyrics on Cheese Packaging
hahaha! I go to that grocery store every single day--literally. It's a block down from my work and I spend more time there than in my cubicle. I recognized the packaging and font in the photo before I read the blurb, and I'm not at all surprised that the guys who run that cheese department would have thrown down some Van Halen lyrics.
Eating for Two: Peanut Butter Cookies
Haha! This debate is my life. I literally cannot even SMELL peanuts without wanting to eat an entire jar of peanut butter. I'm serious...my friends have expressed concern on numerous occasions about my addiction. :\
Blogwatch: Eggs Cooked in Muffin Tins

Blogwatch: Eggs Cooked in Muffin Tins
These suggestions are delicious! I was pressed for time when I cooked the eggs above (work, work, work...sigh), but I'm definitely planning on makin' up some more this weekend when I have a little more time. I can't wait to include cheese/bread/sauces, etc.

Last minute dinner party!
i love the chili idea! i was thinking a stew or something, but chili is perfect. warm, friendly, comfort food. perfection! thank you.
Any ideas for left over apples?
haha! i sympathize only too much with this, i just had the very same problem. i was putting apples in EVERYTHING, from omelettes: http://sweeetheartfever.blogspot.com/2007/12/la-la-love-you.html, to applesauce:http://sweeetheartfever.blogspot.com/2007/11/apples-are-things-i-give-to-you.html (don't scoff! it's really really good, and fun to make.) a few nights ago i sauteed apples and onions, and then stewed them in cider with brussel sprouts. it was delicious! anything that incorporates baked apples (with cinnamon and sugar, if you have a sweet tooth) is also delicious. baked apples and yams/sweet potatoes are good, too. oi, i could go on and on! apple butter?
Leftover Management Skills!
potato bread! i didn't even think of that, what a great idea. they're raw potatoes, but i'm open to changing that. :)
