My dad was a pork fanatic - he loved pork chops, sausages of all kinds and bacon. We ate Bacon & Tomato Sandwiches every weekend while growing up. I always think of him when I slather on the peanut butter, readying my bread for my bacon and tomato sandwich. First time I ate a BLT in a restaurant I almost gagged - I had no idea that people ate B & T with lettuce and MAYO!

Cook the Book: 'My Bread'

Every loaf of bread I make is disastrous. I use fresh yeast, use a thermometer to make sure my water is the right temp, but my dough won't rise.
I used to have a recipe for a peanut butter quick bread that was delicious and always turned out great, but lost it somewhere along the line and have never found a recipe that is as good.
