See, I'd usually agree - with the exception of Frederic Mallo's Pinot Gris. Not only does it have a stork on it, AND a baby, it also has the most horrible font of all time (Matisse) - yet it is extremely delicious.

Gluten-Free Tuesday: Tamari Sauce

Oof, that's pretty rough. It's good that it's a problem that's becoming more widely known, however, and restaurants are more prepared to handle people who can't eat gluten. I've wondered if my boyfriend has either a very, very low grade celiac problem or at least a wheat allergy, because if he eats a lot of pasta or bread over a period of time he feels generally bad - not the sort of intense intestinal distress that celiacs report, but just bad all over - it's odd.

Tamari sauce sounds great though, I'll have to pick some up!

Studies Continue to Prove: Nuts, in Moderation, Are Really Good For You

I always thought I would make an awesome bear because I could totally live on nuts and berries. I put them in salads, stir fry, throw some into my lunchbox almost every day. My favorites are pistachios, which are no longer allowed in my apartment as there is no moderation possible for me when it comes to those!
