I live in Jersey and so far the best Jewish Deli is in Cherry Hill. It's called the Kibitz Room. The Matzo ball soup is to die for, the liver knish is one of the best I have ever tasted. When I need a Kibbitz "fix" I go for the pastrami sandwich with chopped liver on pumpernickle, a liver knish and matzo ball soup and their pickles and green tomatoes. The matzo ball soup and the knish get eaten later for dinner. The sandwiches come half or whole and they also have a humongous sandwich called the g.b.m.f. It is insane. It took four of us to eat it. Next time anyone is in Jersey and close proximity to Cherry Hill, try them. The deli guys are a riot and they do kibitz with you and the waitresses are funny.

I have to come to Imo's defense. As a native St. Louisian, I have had the pleasure of being raised on imo's pizza and wouldn't have it any other way. I am a big fan of the simplicity that the pizza offers. The soft "gooey"cheese (which is a nice change from mozzarella), the slightly sweet tomato paste based sauce, and the ultra thin cracker like crust topped with whatever you like. I do agree that this style of pizza may not be the typical "NY style" pizza or any other pizza that is common. If you are looking for that kind of pizza, go for it, but if if you want the cheezy soft, paper thin, tomato goodness it brings, you really need to give it a try. The best pizza EVER!

Well said! Good lord, she has the worst attitude ever. And yes, if she beats Stephanie or Richard...I will have a fit (not just because of her personality, because of her past performances with the food).

I could care less who she sleeps with or what she looks like. I could even care less about her malcontent attitude. Just cook the food and stop being an ass. Nothing is more distasteful than some ass in the kitchen, acting all prima donna like when in fact some of their cooking sucks ass.
I judge these reality cooking shows by the food. Some of her food was not so special.

Really doesn't matter all told, Steph or Richard are going to win and I like them both and their food. Truely talented people. Richard is just amazing.

Lisa if your reading (and I know you are EVERYONE reads SE) this, I still think you are an ass and I can afford to eat at your restaurant any damn time I want. Get in the kitchen and make food and shut yer piehole. Lisa would be better liked if she did not open her malcontent yap everytime some nasty thought hit her brain. Two words, Mental Health...get some. HAHA

Glad to know Lisa is not at the much over-praised Mai House in Tribeca because I would never want to support any place that employed such a sour, angry, bitter woman as part of its kitchen staff. I agree with Richard that people like that are 'like a grey cloud in the kitchen.' I have worked in restaurants and even one person with an attitude like hers spoils the good work the rest of the team might create. If the owners of Mai House also employed Spike, they must be just like those two. I don't want to sample ANY of her cooking - ever. BTW, a friend of mine went to the A-List Awards and said it was just another trumped-up reason to promote Bravo shows. One of the 'nominees' for Most Entertaining Female on a reality show was that horrendous harridan Rameana from the faux housewives disaster. I don't think anybody on the senior staff at Bravo has any scruples whatsoever, including Andy Cohen. The incessant and very obvious product placements on TC just make me furious. And don't even try to get on their site because it's so cluttered up with ads that it's almost impossible to load these days. If I didn't love TC and Kathy Griffin, I would avoid that channel altogether.

Well, I can pretty much say I can afford to eat her new digs, have eaten at her new digs, won't be eating again at her new digs while she is in residence unless I'm allowed back in the kitchen to stand sullenly staring at her with my chin tucked into my chest and a lemon sucking face.

you guys are all crazy. shame on all of you. yeah shes a jerk, an a-hole, a whiner, but she is much uglier on the outside. seriously i want to jam the remote through my ears every time i see her.

I got a good laugh out of her asking for congratulations from Richard and Stephanie when she didn't get booted. Richard's reply was amazing...was it, "Good job for winning bronze?" So awesome.

What would she say to those that could afford to, and choose not to eat her made-with-hate food?

It's sad, but I feel vindicated.

On the bright side: Either Stephanie or Richard won Top Chef. If Lisa was the winner of TC, she wouldn't have been allowed to make that comment, contractually, without a member of the Bravo team first "Okaying" it, and I doubt they'd want their new Top Chef coming off like a no-class a**hole, do you? So, it's all good.
