What to do with lemon curd?

All of the above; Yum, and tried & true {except the toast!}. I make my own as well. I have a bountiful berry garden in the Summer & I use the curd as a base on puff pastry {large or individiau} tarsts topped with berries. I actually like to stew strawberries and add a little finely chopped rosemary in it. layer on top of thin layer of lemon curd then top with whole berries. It is so delicious..I am thrilled spring is upon us!

So, how likely are you to make those Sloppy Joe's?

I make them frequently..a great superbowl party food. Mini buns & bowl of sloppy joe. I like to use ground turkey also.

A Giant Win for the Giants, a Small Win for Me

I channeled the pending Chinese new year {resisted serving Rat in it's honor of this year} but made some steamed diced shrimp.ginger.scallion dumplings with a killer dippping sauce & some scallion crepes with a "pulled" szechaun sauteed roasted duck. Tried to spin finger food for the foootball game, I guess.

Simply Delicioso is the nail-on-board scraping show! Stunned to see FN invested in a series of new episiodes. I like the Restaurant show with Gordon Ramsey. I like the business component as well as the kitchen/cooking component of it. I get the program on BBCAmerica.

Forgot about doodads..I LOVED those! Mortons too escaped my memory & I now recall there were both cinnamon & glazed; the latter being my favorite. Also, they had a cream pie that was awefully {literally} yummy for a 'tweenage's sweet tooth.

Interesting that "Aunt Sandy" is indeed a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu. Didn't realize they had/have a major in "Crock Pot/Slow Cooking" and minors in sickeningly sweet foofy ice-cream, curaco cocktail-time!

I registered specifically to add my desire for
Regal Crown Sour Cherries!
I had a craving for them suddenly and went online to look for them only to find out they are discontinued. I am sad.

I also want to add one more gone but not forgotten, but I think I may be the only person who has ever eaten this cereal:
Concentrate
It turned to mush when milk was added and had a great taste. I guess most folks like their cereal crunchy but I never did.

My favorite cereal of all time ...
General Mills "JETS" (when they were shaped like Trix or Kix )

They changed the shapes to space vehicles and planes.
The taste and texture changed to something like Alpha-Bits. Not nearly as good.

I'm 56 and I still miss them!

Hmm...you could make lemon curd tarts, lemon curd hamantaschen (like me!), maybe use it in a lemon pie, thumbprint cookies...the possibilities are endless!

Another idea that I forgot about: use as a cookie filling. Make a batch of your favorite sugar cookies, cutting a hole from the center of half of the cookies before you bake them. Make a cookie sandwich by spooning a dollop of lemon curd on the cookies without holes. Top with a "holey" cookie.

I always get that wrong, it is Montreal seasoning, not Monterey. Probably 2 t not one T.

My husband created a variation on this which he calls "Minced Mess" (mince being Britspeak for hamburger). Essentially you cook hamburger and onions in a saute pan until done then throw on some cheese and melt it under the broiler. Then serve it on toast. You would think this would taste like just a badly constructed hamburger but it's a completely different thing. It doesn't do a lot for me for me but my kids absolutely love it!
