SE Staff Picks: Some of Our Favorite Farmers' Markets
One of the greatest things about the Dane County Farmer's Market is the setting - It goes around the square of the Madison Capitol which is one of the most beautiful capitol buildings in the country. I always "make" my parents go when I'm home visiting (it's never hard to convince them).
Cook the Book: 'Dishing Up Vermont'
Wisconsin: Brats boiled in beer and then grilled. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
Memaw's Buttermilk Biscuits
Holy crap, these are good. Partway through cooking, I heard an odd sizzling sound coming from the oven. I opened to find the biscuits frying in their own butter and I knew I was in for a treat.

I love you guys-- this is so awesome. I made the cookie-stuffed cookies - twice in fact. Once with Oreos and once with Nutter Butters. The flavor of the Nutter Butters got lost, but the Oreos freakin' rocked.
