Cook the Book: 'How to Cook Everything, Revised Tenth Anniversary Edition'
He taught me everything I know about cooking! If I had to pick one, I'd say his lemon cheesecake recipe. I made it as a baking newbie and it gave me tons of confidence to keep trying new things.
Cook the Book: 'Baked, New Frontiers in Baking'
Duncan Hines yellow cake from a box with chocolate frosting. Will never outgrow it!

Cook the Book: 'Almost Meatless'
Eggplant parmesan, any Thai curry with tofu, caprese salad, chile rellenos. This sounds like my ideal cookbook, I'm not a big meat fan but need more creative ways to sneak it into my dishes to please everyone at the table!

I started a diet at the beginning of the year, and in the recipe book, there was a fabulous veggie chili. I make that every week and, seriously, I eat it at least three times for lunch in a week. So good!

An organic, cage-free egg cooked sunny-side-up has been my recent go-to dish for any meal. I like to top the egg with grated quality Parm, lots of cracked pepper and serve with crunchy toast and a little salad with a tangy vinaigrette.
