Depends on the weather, but in the spring I am usually requested to make banana pudding.. in the winter I usually make butternut squash soup or creamed corn.

I love to cook with lemon, and green beans usually get moldy before I get a chance to cook them.. even if they are brand new from the store, I eye them with suspicion.

Classic chocolate chip cookies. We use the tollhouse recipes, but we use crisco instead of butter, makes super crispy cookies.. it's pretty much the only transfat I allow myself.. they just don't taste the same any other way!

We eat a beef stew over white rice. It's a tradition from when my mom was little. I think my grandmother got the recipe during her internment in world war two.
