Do you shop Farmers' Markets or belong to a CSA?
Living in NYC area, I have access to great farmer's markets. Grand Army Plaza on Saturday of a trip in the city for the Union Square market.
Of course great regional fruit and vegetable but hard to resist the fresh bread and cookies, always think they are healthier.
The CSA doesn't interest me.
Alton Brown's Sardine-Avocado Sandwich Diet
My husband and had sardine and avocado sandwiches for lunch today on English Muffins. We didn't follow the recipe at all. Added black pepper and diced scotch bonnet pepper with a couple dashes of salt. So yummy and we felt great because, 1 it was super easy and 2, we almost always have those are ingredients on hand.
What's Your Favorite New York Deli?
DItto on Katz. A pastrami on rye sounds fabulous now.

About: Love love love food, go for the expensive exotic stuff during restuarant weeks. Cannot afford them normally.
Favorite foods: Asian of all types. West Indian, savory and spicy.
Last bite on earth: Hmmm, that's tough, couldn't I have a whole meal or little bits of many different things.

Love love love Doubles. Had two tonight before a bike ride. Got it at Trinidad Ali's 589 Flatbush Avenue@ Midwood St. They also have awesome Roti's. I think even better that Trinidad & Tobago's top Roti shop.
