The Best Valentine's Day Giveaway Ever: Lobel's 4" Prime Dry-Aged Heart Shaped Steaks for Two

Living in NYC, I can't grill it like I would like. So, searing in a cast iron pan and finishing in the oven will have to do!

What's New York's Best Shawarma?

I don't know that it's the absolute best, as I have to admit I haven't tasted enough others to make a true judgement, but Omar's in Midtown East is my go-to at lunchtime. It's absolutely packed during the lunch hours and you leave smelling like meat all day, but it's so wonderful to get a huge plate of meat and sides for $10.

Tell Us About Your Favorite Uptown Restaurants

Celeste is my absolute favorite. It's almost upsetting that it's on the radar now! Land is my go-to Thai place and is always solid. Kefi and Calle Ocho are the places I'll usually take people from other neighborhoods. And Pio Pio...we seriously considered not renting our new apartment because it was just out of their delivery range.

Celeste: The Italian Restaurant Every Neighborhood Should Have (But Doesn't)

Great review! Some other can't miss menu items:
-Have to echo the pasta with shrimp and cabbage, which is amazing.
-Fried artichoke appetizer. Super fresh artichokes with fried parsely on top which is nearly life changing.
-Limoncello tartufo dessert is completely unique and can't be beat.

Also, (almost done!), on Mondays, you must order a "special pizza." It's two pieces of dough baked to golden brown perfection, simply stuffed with the best cheese I've ever had (think a salty, light, creamy ricotta) and lightly seasoned with truffle oil. Can't beat it.

Best Steak in Austin

My husband and I are making a meat pilgrimage out to Austin, TX in a couple of weeks. While I have the BBQ joints lined up, I'm looking for a rec on Texas steak. While I'm not opposed to a more upscale place, we live in NYC and have many in our backyard. Any tips from this community would be great!

Where to eat on PCH? Honeymoon on Cali Coast

I need some awesome restauarant and stop recommendations for my upcoming honeymoon. We're driving up the Pacific Coast Highway stopping in:
-Santa Monica
-Santa Barbara
-Big Sur/Carmel
-San Francisco

We're both huge foodies and can't wait to eat our way up the coast! Any recommendations would be so appreciated - we have about four weeks left and I'd love to make some reservations. Thanks!
