First Look: Sakuramen, a New Ramen Shop in Washington D.C.

toki underground isn't so bad to get a table at - the key is to not show up starving your face off. they take yr cell number and text you when yr table is ready - just pop over to the Pug or Fruit Bat for some yummy drinks beforehand, and your table is ready before you know it.

but YES, psyched for a new ramen spot in old DC!! sakuramen sounds yummy and friendly.

Cereal Eats: Yes, Rice Krispies Treats Cereal Still Exists

I don't know how i went this long without seeing this post, but whatever. I thought I was the only person who still looked in vain down the cereal aisle, staring at the Krispies section and willing a purple box to show up.

This is the greatest cereal ever.

I found it on a trip to New Orleans once and brought a box back on the plane with me.

Ok y'all, this is my first post here. Hooray!

So I went to Wendy's to get some study fuel, and because I wanted to try their new "hot n juicy" cheeseburger - which was actually pretty tasty as far as their burgers go, though they used sweet pickles on it instead of dill, which is a travesty. Anyway, I got a Frosty too, and the darling cashier said "Chocolate or vanilla?" and I didn't know what to say! I mean, i thought Frostys only came in one flavor...Frosty flavor, which is neither chocolate nor vanilla, but somewhere in the grey (or light brown) area between.

Anyway, I got chocolate and it tastes pretty normal I guess, though it came in a clear plastic cup and is a little darker than I recall.

Any input? Did this happen a million years ago ad I just haven't been to a Wendy's in forever? I'm in Pittsburgh, if that helps.
