my family isn't exactly 'foodies' but we do the hanukkah staples and I have to go with the catering from Ben's deli on Long Island. We get it every year at my aunt's house and it covers some of the favorites (same exact thing every year): mini potato pancakes, platter of meats (tongue, corned beef included) and kugels, etc. Same food memories every year!
I'm going to go with matzoh ball soup and latkas or something equally as Jew'ey! :-)

I have the hungry girl book (it was a gift) I think a lot of her recipes are OK but the use of fat free ingredients is just something I cannot stomach, maybe low fat but the fat free stuff isn't even really food! Her onion rings are quite good but I just feel wrong eating some of her stuff!! Thanks again for the feedback!

Hi - we are looking for a great restaurant (not tooo pricey) to have a client dinner in March. We would like a private room with price fixe menu options. We've done: Del Frisco's, Bouchon, Mixx, SW, Cut, Morels, Bartolotta, Charlie Palmer...to name a few! (we are frequent Vegas'ers!)

Hi, My husb and I are going to see Spiderman on Broadway (not my choice but he is clearly a child still). The shows at 2 on a Saturday. I wanted to go to lunch somewhere around the Foxwoods Theater - quickish, on the cheaper side and nothing too boring. I love trying different foods and unique spots while the husband would be happy at Sbarro's. Any tips for a cute little spot thats not TOO much of a tourist trap/generic. TIA
