As MichaelN said, in Canada they see to have a mango sauce and peanut sauce. Here in the states it's the spicy thai sauce. Can anyone clarify--what's up with the asian thing? It really has nothing to do with the Olympics, they're in Canada, not Asia...
When he was listing the thinks he tried making vinyls out of, it reminded me of Augustus Gloop from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The new version, when the kid is in the deli talking to the cameras.
I actually like Cake Boss alot more than Ace of Cakes. Ace of Cakes is cool, but I think everything just seems so fake. Cake Boss is so much more interesting, and seems more real.
This looks really good, but is there any way to make it into a 9-inch pie? I really don't want to go buy another pie pan.
I had the most delicious cake at a restaurant the other day, and it was simply noted as "vanilla caramel crunch cake." I want to look for the recipe somewhere, but I googled it and nothing popped up that seemed right...except for the following sit that sells it for almost $80!!! I want to make it at home though. Anyone have any idea as to how to make the crunchy/caramel layer in the middle of the cake? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks!!

If you guys are going down to the New London area, try Paul's Pasta in Groton, it's very good. I especially recommend the shrimp appetizer. The pasta is all fresh and homemade, and the desserts are great too.
