I tried it at Thanksgiving and was not crazy about it. The bitterness kinda turned me off. Turning it into a mimosa didn't help. I agree that if you want to save money and still get a nice bubbly, cremants are the way to go.

I agree this is a very entertaining book, whether you're interested in the liquor aspect, the business aspect or the Russian history aspect. I was into it for all three, plus I used to live down the street from their distillery in Bethel, CT.
