Dear Regrettable Foodie, I made the mistake of planting horseradish 3 years ago. I cannot kill it. It is the plant that will not die. If you leave even just a sliver of it, it will regrow. Just be warned.

a Trader Joe's Disappointment

I've shopped there for many years. It seems that in the last year or so their quality has really disappointed. The produce doesn't seem as fresh, the aisles a little less organized, the staff a little less available and the lines a little longer (failure to call extra cashiers). I still get items there that aren't available other places, but I'm slowing weening myself from them.

Come on in 'The Kitchn'

I'm lucky enough to raise my own free-range chickens and feed them from my organic garden. I get the best tasting eggs I've ever had-for next to nothing. Just clean the cages, fresh water, food and voila'-great looking/tasting/baking/frying eggs!
