For as long as I can remember, I have always loved my mom's lemper ayam --- Indonesian rolls of sticky rice with chicken in the middle.
I make my 3 layer Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting. I bake a lot, but this is probably my best creation!
Though I never doubted the calorie counts of margaritas/daquiris, the thought of having 2 or 3 (3000+ calories) kinda puts a damper on my Friday night happy hour plans.
Skinny cow has gotta be my favorite as well.
I'd have to pick Oprah - she's such a force of nature and like it or not, has a huge impact on our society (think book club!). I think she's been around enough cooks that she'd be able to pick out something delicious.
Cake batter ice cream is delicious on the first bite but quickly goes from curiously delicious to sickeningly sweet & artificial tasting. I'm still a fan of cookie dough ice cream, or for about 99.9% of ice cream flavors in general.
Ooh, I love homemade cornbread on a cast iron skillet. A second favorite is a restaurant I used to frequent when I lived in Chicago: Bandera. There's is also in a cast iron skillet and has a wonderful crust.
Hmm, I just had one the other day. Looks like they're a little slow on the discontinue. I agree that I enjoyed having a breakfast option other than a sugary pastry or overpriced fruit.
I sometimes wonder the same thing when I haven't had sushi made by a Japanese sushi chef in probably a few months...
On Friday evenings during spring and summer, family members and friends get together and have drinks and appetizers on our patio. My SIl brings the champagne to drink and everyone contributes to the meal. Always a wonderful time.
I am going with strawberries (my original answer would have been deleted *L*)
I really like to have champagne with a variety of cheeses and crackers. Delicious!
