Cereal Eats: Kellogg's Krave Comes to the U.S.

@Leandra if you want to buy them there are some places in Queens if you want to make the trip. I don't know of any place in Manhattan. There is a place in Queens called Amalya's Grocery where you can buy them. I haven't tried the Krave cereal so I can't compare the two in flavor, but the concept is the same.

Grocery Girl: Everyone Loves Free Samples

I have to agree with jgomoll I will usually buy what I sample so I try not to sample anything I am definitely not going to buy. Yesterday I was at the supermarket and ended up sampling this awesome milk. Now I don't even drink milk, but this skim milk was so creamy I couldn't believe it and actually bought it and have drunk two glasses already!

In regards to the post, I don't know how I feel about this topic yet, but I think we are being unfair. Hannah is still trying to flush out what this column is going to be and trying to keep the store under-wraps. Lets keep reading and see what happens.

Cereal Eats: Kellogg's Krave Comes to the U.S.

These are like a cereal you can find in Israel called Cariot which when translated are pillows and are also filled with either chocolate cream, vanilla cream, or nougat cream. My sister just sent me a picture of these yesterday. If they are anything like the Israeli version they are ok on their own but much better in milk!

The Food Lab's Apple Pie, Part 1: What Are the Best Apples for Pie?

I just made an apple pie last night with winesap apples. They seemed to have just the right amount of sweetness and tartness and they were big enough that I only needed to use 7 apples.

Finally, figs!

I love figs! My greatest memories are climbing into my mothers old neighbors backyard in Israel and eating them straight from the tree. Nothing gets better then that!
