Travelers: What's Your Favorite Airport Food?
I love Icebox Cafe in Miami Intl Airport -- terminal D, I believe. Good food, even better desserts.

Super Bowl Giveaway: The Bacon Explosion
Talking about bacon is like dancing about architecture.
Cook the Book: 'The Best Soups in the World'
Right now, I'm savoring an oxtail soup with carrots, celery, and tomato, but it's hard to top chicken congee on a cold day.
Cook the Book: 'Jamie's Food Revolution'
Roasted tomatoes, onions, white beans, with slices of bread.
Cook the Book: 'The Pioneer Woman Cooks'
Too many to pick! Pioneer Woman, Smitten Kitchen, Wednesday Chef...
Cook the Book: 'Mrs. Rowe's Little Book of Southern Pies'
Baking disaster: orange chocolate bundt cake that turned out dry and overdone.
Cook the Book: 'Ten'
Chocolate chip oatmeal cookies... the craving was so strong that I baked them myself.
Cook the Book: 'On the Line'
So hard to pick just one. I like my lobster and crab boiled. Clams stir fried in a hot wok with black bean sauce. Shrimp with lots of garlic and lemon.
Cook the Book: The Essence of Chocolate
My first taste of molten chocolate cake will always remain with me.
Cook the Book: 'Baking Unplugged'
I was fixated with having a proper tea and eating scones after reading Victorian literature in high school. I tried making scones one day but they turned out to be more like dry hockey pucks.
Seriously Delicious Holiday Food Giveaway: Russ & Daughters
Eggs benedict when I'm feeling indulgent. Cheese and spinach omelet otherwise.
Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Two Peter Luger Steaks
Nothing beats a ribeye!
Cook the Book: 'Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics'
Lemon yogurt cake is my signature dessert based on an Ina Garten recipe. My go-to entree is pan roasted chicken.
Cook the Book: 'The Sweeter Side of Amy's Bread'
Mmm, chocolate chip walnut!
Cook the Book: 'The Modern Baker'
Biggest baking success was a fudgy chocolate cake that came out impeccably... I'm still not sure why. :)
Cook the Book: 'Chocolate Epiphany'
A molten chocolate cake with a cold glass of milk.
Cook the Book: Lidia's Italy
Roasted rack of lamb for dinner and a fudgy chocolate cake for dessert... both are pretty simple but super tasty.
Cook the Book: The Sweet Melissa Baking Book
So hard to choose just one! I'll say nothing beats a good yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
Cook the Book: Nigella Express
I like to make a big batch of soup, stew, or chili and freeze half of it for the future. Also for Italian sausage, I only use about two links at a time. When I buy a pack, I divide it up into separate freezer bags, so that I don't have to defrost the entire package.
Cook the Book: 'How to Pick a Peach'
Cooking: Broccoli
Raw: Watermelon
Cook the Book: 'Pure Dessert'
Cupcakes, unmolded onto a plate and drizzled with chocolate sauce or plated with whipped cream. Simple but tasty and always a crowd pleaser.
