Thanks for filling in some of the blanks for me, my wife and I are both from the United States, and although she lived in Spain for a while she was in Madrid, so we don't know the ins and outs of Catalan culture. It's wonderful how different the foods and their preparations can be, given their proximity to each other.
Those xixos are amazing, and the guys that work there are so helpful and patient. We only ended up ordering those after one of them recommended them to us.
