Has anyone found a yogurt based version, or a version with full-fat cheeses cut with yogurt to make it low fat? I detest fat free cream cheese (or fat free any cheese), in taste and in concept, so I'd be loathe to try this, even though I adore spinach artichoke dip.

I grew up in Jersey too, and these types are everywhere. Who else goes to Karma and Bamboo? This show is about people who "summer" at Seaside, not people who live there year-round.

I love this show, despite myself, and one of the best things about it is how they really seem to love and respect one another. These dinners they have are pretty regular, they make a point of eating like a big family. You should check your own prejudices if you find the cast that offensive. Maybe you think they're stupid or you don't like their style, but they seem to really love their families and each other, and don't really care what people think of them. Why would anybody have a problem with that?
