Reality Check: Wendy's Cheesy Cheddarburger

I'm generally impressed with Wendy's beef (for fast food burgers) and tried the Cheesy Cheddarburger a few months back. It was okay, but the patty just wasn't worth it. I did, however, discover their Monterey Ranch Crispy Chicken and the Spicy Chicken dollar menu sandwiches, which are quite fantastic.

I always solve the problem of toppings on the bottom bun by placing the burger upside-down on my plate; the top bun is always thicker, plus I find the burger easier to pick up in that position, gripping it normally (fingers on the top bun, thumbs on the bottom) and rotating it upright as I lift it to my mouth.

All the Bennigan's in MN closed expect one in the northern suburbs. I believe it was something like the corporate-owned locations that were closed, but the franchised locations remained. Anyway, I still love the deep-fried monte cristo sandwich. I always thought the burgers were okay, but it was their bacon (which I hated the taste of) that always ruined them for me.
