Cooking from the Glossies: Angel Hair Pasta with Red Pepper Pesto and Basil
Just wondering if anyone thinks that a touch of acid (lemon juice or balsamic vinagar?) or maybe some grated parmesan in the pesto might give this pesto the punch some think it is lacking? I picked up 2.5 lbs of red peppers at the mexican grocery store yesterday for 68 cents/lb! so I will give this a try soon having added some acid and will report back.

Recently I decided to seriously limit the amount of meat in my diet. I LOVE the idea of adding the fried egg for both flavor and substance....even though I realize it is only in my head that the dish won't be filling enough with just the beans!
