my favorite vegetarian meal is a vegetable udon noodle soup made with a mushroom broth, but having been a vegetarian for 7 years, I have a lot! polenta "lasagna", chickpea and spinach curry, and a really fresh tomato, basil, and mozzarella sandwich are all on the top of my list as well.

we went on a class trip to china and the best part was staying with families in a remote village in Guizhou. we had to hike all day to get to the village, but when we got there, all the people were waiting to welcome us in the traditional way. we were exhausted but felt so happy.

I HATE that people think flavorful food needs to have meat or that vegetarian food equals steamed veggies over rice with no flavor....vegetarian food can be delicious! I especially like a good falafel sandwich with lots of pickled vegetables and a creamy tzatiki sauce. I also like all sorts of vegetarian curries, especially chana masala, which is my favorite.

when i was 12, i wanted to make lemon squares. instead of adding 1/4 tsp of salt i added 1/4 TABLESPOON of salt. it was too much salt. my mom wouldn't let me throw out the dough and we had salty lemon buns for 3 days. they were disgusting
