From our Sponsor: A Small Step to Help the Planet?
I've started bringing cloth/ reusable bags with me to stores, not just the supermarket, but all stores. It seems easy but it is an extra effort to plan ahead and remember to bring them. After a few trips (and forgetting a few times) it's become an easy habit...and they are easier to carry on the subway than the plastic kind.
Greek Meal at NYC's Kefi Last Night Was Very Tasty
I was there on Saturday night as well, with a reservation. We (4 people) were seated on time and had a great meal. Four appetizers, four main courses, and 2 bottles of wine for under $200. I thought the value and food were above average for NYC. I've eaten at the old space twice - one of those experiences was good, the other OK. I think the new location and space is an improvement over the old. I look forward to more solid meals there...I will say we did wait a tad long for our main courses, but knowing that they just reopened we were understanding. I sat upstairs but think that the lower level would probably be more enjoyable for my next visit.
Best non-beef burger in Manhattan
BRGR (7th Ave btwn 26/27th St) has a great veggie burger. My meat-eating husband even gets it once in a while and it satisfies him too.

This is prob not the deep dish place you are looking for, but Racanelli's was my fave pizza place as a New Yorker who went to Wash U...granted it's been 10 years since I've eaten it but it's what I remember as the best of the options at the time. Looking at the website, it appears it's still around and has expanded from the loop.
