Dear AHT: In-N-Out Is Overrated

Beck's Prime: Cheeseburger, small fries, small coke = $12.65
In-N-Out: Cheeseburger, fries, medium drink AKA #2 combo = $6.00-$7.00.

Rounding Up the 'Goddamn Awful Burgers' of Taipei

I think its asking a bit much to expect American style burgers outside of North America. Every country is going to tailor their burgers to their particular tastes and preferences. When I'm traveling outside of the U.S. and order a burger its usually out of curiosity. It's interesting to see how they've adopted it and made it their own. I'm not expecting charbroiled beefy goodness.

The History of the McGangBang

I think a more accurate name would be the Diarrheah Burger. Just saying.

Jollibee Opening In New York City on Saturday

Jollibee's food is more geared towards the palates/preferences of the Philippines. The burgers are indeed more sweet and do not have the smokey, beefy flavor that we are all familiar with. I ate at one of the many locations in PI and it was just OK. It's pretty much on par quality-wise with McDonalds. The Bee mascot kind of creeps me out, too. On another note I do love that you can get Fried Chicken and steamed rice at any McD's or Burger King in PI.

Burger Joint Recommendations in Salt Lake City: Crown Burger

I've been to the Denver location on S. Colorado Blvd. The pastrami burger is as delicious a concoction one would expect from a greasy spoon. They do have gyros on the menu. Personally I'd like to see a burger topped with gyros meat on the menu, too. I might have to try to get one customized later this week.
