Dinner Tonight: Chipped Beef Gravy
Nick, I make this by sauteing the chipped beef in a little butter, then sifting the flour over the beef, adding the milk, stirring, and then adding the Worcestershire sauce. Sauteing adds some texture. The other important part is warming the plates and timing the toast right so that you are pouring the chipped beef on the toast when the toast is still warm. Glad to hear that you have a sentimental attachment to this meal:)
