Hackmuth is right - Vace is hands down the best pie in DC. Folks who like Radius think that a good pizza means heapings of greasy cheese - cuz there's nothing really else going on with that pizza (their sauce and crust are nothing special). I think the litmus test for any place is how good their plain cheese slice is. From there the topings are just bonuses - if they can't do the plain pie, then forget the rest. Radius and Comet may have some fancy contemporary pies, but they fall short with the fundementals and fail the litmus test in my opion.
