Raspberry Mustard

Just saw this on Food 52: http://food52.com/recipes/13059-spicy-raspberry-mostarda

not quite mustard, but maybe a good alternative!

Raspberry Mustard

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I checked Kalustyan's website and they don't have any fruit mustards. I may give Inglehoffer brand cranberry mustard a try. As for the stuff available on amazon, I may give it a try as well (as i've searched extensively on amazon myself). I think this may be the case of trying to come up with a recipe. @hungrychristel, let me know if you come up with anything & i'll do the same!

Looking for a Cheap Slice? Just Whip Out Your Gun at this Virginia Pizzeria

@andria i also wouldn't patronize this restaurant (if i lived nearby). not because i would be scared for my life, but more because i disagree with the politics of this marketing. things like this make me happy i live in jersey city, NJ.

Taste Test: The Best Tortilla Chips

i have to say, when tostitos still made their 'gold' chips (they were smaller shape and thicker) i was a big big fan. i'm sad they don't make those anymore

College Tours: Where To Eat Near Syracuse University

@Zach A. Totally 2nd the mission. their tamales were fantastic. along with EVERYTHING else that they served

College Tours: Where To Eat Near Syracuse University

i am a cuse alum and absolutely LOVED Syrajuice. their vegan chicken wrap was amazing, and their rice/beans cup and burritos were equally as good. Another fave spot for mexican but somewhat over-hyped was Alto Cinco. their nachos are the best.

funk and waffles was delicious and great when they were underground at parties and shows. but since they opened the space next to chuck's it hasn't been great.

oh how i miss syracuse!!

Confession: I Like Coke Zero

i'm definitely a coke zero girl, thanks to my BF. just the perfect amount of sweet, no diet coke flavor. i have also converted my mom to coke zero as well (she used to be a diet coke girl, believe it or not)

Win Two VIP Tickets to the 2012 NYC Food Film Festival, October 17 -21

My fave scene is also from goodfellas, but it's the one where henry is making dinner with his brother. he is high on cocaine and paranoid about the helicopter (with reason) it's madness, but he is set in his ways about the sauce, very specific.

Raspberry Mustard

I recently went to a restaurant down the shore in NJ, and as a starter they had pretzel rolls with raspberry mustard. This is not the 1st time i have heard of this raspberry mustard, my BF's roommate in college used to have some around once in a while which he got from home (PA, i'm guessing near an amish market).

Does anyone have any suggestions of where i could find a good raspberry mustard in the NYC area, or know of a brand that is actually good? I searched the internet, but only found Harry & David & the like, which is a yellow mustard. I am looking for a thinner, red/purple raspberry mustard.

Would alternatively appreciate a recipe for such!

Thanks serious eaters!

Restaurant week. Worth It?

My friend and I live in the city & are thinking about doing a restaurant week dinner. I know sometimes it's not really a deal. the places we would consider are Colicchio & Sons Tap Room, Centrico, Townhouse, and Red Rooster. Any yays or nays, or other suggestions that are worth it for Restaurant Week?
