Food Terms that should be banned from the media

To add to my weird list of "little" and "my" from an earlier comment: "some" (as in: "I'm going to add some of my chicken, some lettuce, some salt" ... why the qualifier?)

Food Terms that should be banned from the media

"little" for everything added to a pan ("now let's add a little salt ... a little vinegar ...")

"my" for everything added to a pan ("then I'll put in my chicken" ... "Now let's add a little of my diced tomatoes")

I know, it's irrational.

Damon, next time you're looking for a pastrami sandwich, give Johnnies (on Sepulveda and Washington in Culver City) a try. It's been a while since I lived in the area, but for my money, it couldn't be beat when all you wanted was a huge, perfectly made pastrami sandwich. Never tried the fries or anything else though, as the sandwich on its own was plenty large.
