The Best Burger in Austin?
not an Austin resident, but I have spent a couple months there. Not only was Casino hands down the best burger I experienced in that town, but it also better than 4 ones listed above that I've experienced.

Don't get me wrong, I like Dumont's burgers plenty, although I prefer Diner's. Buuuut Luger's are not only cheaper, but in a whole other stratosphere in terms of quality. Only downside its that they are lunch only...

yeah I'd put casino in my nationwide top 5. But as someone who lives three blocks from Schnack I'm bewildered by it's presence on this list. It's decent for sure, but I wouldn't put it on my top 15 in the city, let alone the nation. I have constant burger nostalgia for the days I lived in Williamsburg, where the Diner, DuMont, Luger's trifecta made for burger heaven...
