Spot of Tea: Good Earth Vanilla Chai Tea

I LOVE the Organic Original. Their Green Tea is also really good, with a hint of mango, pineapple and peach. I have four cups of Green everyday. To make it a little more affordable, I use one bag for all my four cups. But this trick is really only good for the Green tea. For a really subtle, clean tasting tea, the White Tea does the trick. Not sure about the other flavors, but Good Earth in general is fantastic. And if you go to their site, they have a $1 off coupon per box.

Kitchenaid Ice Cream Maker Attachment- worth the money?

I love mine. I keep it in the freezer, but then I have to wait for the making/cooling of the custard. I haven't tried David Lebovitz's recipes simply because of how many egg yolks the recipes use. I already have a good amount of egg whites in the freezer, I don't need more. So, the recipe that I found that is now my favorite is this one by Jeni Britton: http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/vanilla-bean-ice-cream. I used 1 whole vanilla pod and one second used pod, and boy was it heaven!

Culver's: An Above-Average Burger, with Some Consistency Issues

IMO, I think maybe you did it wrong. You MUST order a double butter burger PLAIN WITH CHEESE ONLY. If you get a single it can be little underwhelming and a bit dry. If you get toppings it will distract and cover up the joy of pure, unadulterated (juicy!) beef and cheese and bun. I guarantee that it will be the best burger you have ever had. It is for us, at least. And we go a Culver's right down the street in Plainfield, IL.

Dinner Tonight: Lemony Chickpea Stir-Fry

I first made this from 101cookbooks and it is super delicious! I had never had kale before and I really liked it. The crunch and texture really went well with the creamy toasted chickpeas.

Cooking bacon in the microwave?

Don't do it. It is not good in the nuker. I used to try for convenience sake but there is no comparison to stove top bacon. It is much more tender and more evenly cooked than microwaved bacon. Just say no!
