for my money... I would go with something that weighs at least 10 lbs unless you are doing home cooking. Check out the sleek american weigh scale, it's about 50 bucks but slim and compact and complete any task. I would go with the black one...
Cook the Book: 'Seven Fires'
I was right off the plane, after a 13 hour flight in Rio De Janeiro, and my first experience wasn't really a dish but it was perfect. I had a couple pao de quejio rolls, soft gooey cheesy and the best first meal off the plane in Brasil. In the following weeks I had some of the best fried pastilles filled with different meats and cheeses. Some of the best pizza I have ever had... thin crust great sausage and covered in the most amazing chili oil and hot sauce, and endless Bbq at the Charascuria below our apartment.
