I saw a show where a cheescloth was soaked in butter and then put on top of the turkey, also he said you should never open your over because that lets the heat out-the cheescloth will baste the turkey. Did anyone see that show ? Who was the cook ?
I bought a frozen turkey last Wednesday. To thaw it I put it in my garage that i thought was cold enough to start thawing. It thawed quite a bit by the next day so I then put it in my fridge. I was thinking of brining it dry, but now I am afraid it will spoil before I cook it Thanksgiving-should I make it ahead of time? Help !!!!
