A Sandwich a Day: Cheesesteak with Provolone from Philly's Best

A Sandwich a Day: Corned Beef Reuben at The Brown Sack
Love the BLAST!
A Sandwich A Day: Carnitas Torta from Taqueria Moran
Correction: His "go to" is adobado torta.
Also, La Pasidita is fractioned off family members isn't it? I used to live a block from them and I thought that's what I'd heard. I think the Moran's owned all 3 businesses... just the bakery and taqueria now. I'm sure they got a pretty penny for the the laundromat, though! I hope the bakery and taqueria stay forever.
A Sandwich A Day: Carnitas Torta from Taqueria Moran
This is my husband's go-to order. He loves it. And I was just talking to a friend last night who was reminiscing about her Taqueria Moran torta. I think they own the bakery across the street. And they used to own a lavanderia (laundromat) that is now Boiler Room. http://www.yelp.com/biz/lavanderia-moran-chicago

Delivery Tip - Revisited
you can't get ANYTHING delivered in Chicago without paying a delivery fee. it stinks!.. and really adds up when you start calculating tax + fee + tip.
Curried Away
My boyfriend is Asian (1/4 being Japanese) and he just made this for me and my friends a few weeks ago. Instead of ground beef he used like beef stew meat. It was so good!
