Have you lost your Food Mojo?
I thought dbcurrie's suggestions were very good and paralleled my own attempts to find some initiative and inspiration for cooking. I'm lucky that my spouse enjoys my cooking and always has. I read recently that you can wear those Manolo Blahniks just so long, and then you better be able to cook. I get all sorts of magazine subscriptions to foodie mags, and then I order used cookbooks at Amazon.com. But sometimes it just isn't enough. We lie around in our chairs, stare at the ceiling and complain to each other that nothing in the food world interests us. We try to get each other to go to the grocery in hopes that the other person will have more ideas...we both cook, order exotic ingredients all over the Internet, but let's face, sometimes nothing helps!

I was a failure at years of breadmaking until I got a KitchenAid. I don't work for the company or anything, and since I'm old, it was hard to learn anything new. But I'm glad I did. I'm not sure what it does to the dough but suddenly, getting some new recipes on BetterBaking.com and the KitchenAid really made a difference.
