Openings: Pacific Pizza

As a matter of fact, Pacific Pizza is almost identical to said "dingy" pizza joint. Nothing has really changed. In fact, they still have the same horrible habit of FOLDING the pizza in order fit the slices into to-go bags. In ordering two slices to go, I had to personally teach the rude and ignorant staff member how to fit two slices into a bag without folding them. He didn't believe it was possible to accomplish such a feat. It's a shame because the pizza is actually pretty good. They really should forget about serving slices and limit themselves to pies only... as they're obviously going for a sit-down style joint. Definitely not a NY-style pizza place.

I live right around the corner, and man, is this a huge step up from La Rosas (which I didn't like). I only like thin crust (and it is), and I'm a real simple pizzaman- yes, just pepperoni. But, the crust was thin and well-cooked (not too soggy from the trip, but it's only about 200 feet away), the sauce was nice and tangy, and they use blocks of cheese, instead of shredded. Not sure what difference that makes, but overall, it was great. I have no affiliation with them, but I gotta say, this is the best delivery pie I've had (although, I am pretty new to the 'hood). If someone knows of a better THIN crust in the area, please tell me, and I'll gladly compare.
