I don't like blueberries or raspberries...
I also suggest a smoothie with banana and apple sauce ( 2 tbsp) plus wheat germ (1 tsp), use only a few blueberries or raspberries, maybe 6.

parsnips, but seriously, arguments and raised voices, eating is a civilized act save the fights for when the food has digested. Laughter and other sounds of enjoyment are welcome.
Chinese-Muslim style stir fry thin strips of potatoes! Try to recreate it here at my house. I know they soak them in salt water, but do they blanch them??
Toast, love toast, with jam, butter, pate, cheese whatever. Apples, I just picked up these tiny apples at the market, so cute like little toys you can eat, also slightly obsessed with La Panzanella Rosemary Croccantini at present.
I like celery and carrot chips -- especially with blue cheese dip/dressing. Chips -- I used to put Nacho Cheese Doritos on my turkey sandwiches because I liked the taste and the crunch. With certain cereals, I like to grab a handful to snack on. And I just got some sour cream & onion rice crips from TJ's -- yum! I like my stir fry veggies to be crunchy as well; they're good with water chestnuts.
I just came across a recipe on Foodaphilia. Coconut Almond Toffee Crunch cookies that are said to satisfy chewy, crunchy, sweet, salty & buttery. Now that's a winner!
I'm of the opinion that if you dont like it, I dont think it will do you much good. Find something else with nice dark colours in it that you like instead.
Crunchy rice at the bottom of the pot!
Did that yesterday. Lined a casserole pot with lightly-buttered rice on the base and sides, filled it with layers of raw marinated chicken and vegetables, sealed with another layer of rice, then put the lid on and baked on 420 degrees for 15 min, then 350 degrees for 30 to 45 min.
And read some Harold McGee while waiting.
Zapp's Cajun Crawtators....Thick cut chips cooked in peanut oil and covered with crawfish boil seasonings....reminds me of home.
I LOVE Kashi granola bars! Only the crunchy ones! I particularly like Honey Toasted 7-Grain. I also love biscotti, and crunchy potato chips...oh you and your topics always leave me hungry JEP.
