What's Your Favorite Gas Station Convenience Store for Snacks?

Sheetz has the best coffee, but there is not nearly enough love here for ROYAL FARMS! Their chicken easily beats KFC and they make amazing fried chicken salad that I could probably eat by the bucket. Oh, and they sell Berger cookies. Also, Rutters has the best pretzels (Smitty's!) and is the only gas station I'd ever buy milk at. Now, lets hear about Maple Donuts and the South Central PA-fecta is complete!

In Season: Sweet Potatoes

I love just simply roasting diced up sweet potatoes with olive oil, lots of salt and pepper, sometimes chili powder or curry powder.

Simple, Juicy Burgers at White Rose Bar & Grill in York, Pennsylvania

We went to the White Rose yesterday after YorkFest specifically to try the burgers - fantastic! Too big to even finish, but absolutely delicious. Next time I will get a plain cheeseburger, because the meat itself had more than enough flavor that we didn't even need the rest of the fanfare on top. Thanks for the great recommendation!
