If they still made Screaming Yellow Zonkers, I'd inhale it every day (and then need to be rolled out of my apt).
Kraft mac n cheese
Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Oreos (but even better if you stick a freshly roasted marshmallow in between!)
TEDDY GRAHAMS (nom nom nom)
Any particular gluten-free bread that you recommend?
I would pretty much sell my cat for a case of Malteasers.
No, I'm sorry Smushmut....I don't mean it (I kinda do)...
El Al has an AMAZING tray! Sabra hummus and cheeses and pita - YUM! (There's probably more my now-vegetarian mind has blocked out...)
Torrisi Italian Specialties please!
Cherimoyas (or "custard apple" in the UK)! I used to get these on my way home from school every day when I was studying abroad. They're from South America, but for some reason the UK can get them and we can't. You just slice em in half and eat it w a spoon. It's like a cross btwn a banana and an apple - DELICOUS!!
Oooh! And Reese's Puffs! That stuff is like crack
- Kraft mac and cheese. That color is positively radioactive. Although I AM good lately and get the "whole grain" one (which is def only about 5% whole grain)
- McDonald's french fries with honey
- Conversely, sweet potato fries with maple syrup. No, not real maple syrup. I don't even like real stuff on my pancakes. The fake, Aunt Jemima, corn-syrup crap. God I love that stuff.
- M&Ms. Not dark chocolate, not peanut, not anything "gourmet." Just regular plain m&ms. In a bowl. For me to INHALE.
Warm chocolate chip cookies. Every. Time.
in my mouth
Whole wheat everything bagel, scooped and toasted, with low-fat cream cheese.
My grandparents fled Germany during the war, so I grew up with the stuff. It's heaven. I'm also convinced that almonds are the world's most perfect food...
Any place that will give me a warm chocolate chip cookie - YUM
Jaques Torres Wicked Hot Chocolate (chili chocolate)
Whole wheat everything bagel, scooped and toasted, with low-fat cream cheese. I'm such a Long Islander...
Oh, and also - any pancakes from Clinton Street Baking Co.
My grandparents were German, Belgian, French, and Luxembourgish. Somehow...they all brought the tradition of Lebkuchen with them when the came here. It's a holiday tradition and my goodness, what a delicious one!
Michael Pollan....does he count?
Living in NYC, I've had many places that claim to be gelato. However, I think I TRULY had gelato for the first time when traveling with friends in Italy. One scoop chocolate chili, one scoop mint chocolate chip. The contrast of heat and cooling....DIVINE!
...so I'm the only one that stands naked in their kitchen every morning, and just eats Nutella on a spoon?
Is it too obvious to mention Pommes Frites? The sauces...they're just so...WONDERFUL....
Cinnamon toast crunch, Bunny Grahams (honey flavor), and kettle corn that's not individually packaged (Trader Joe's does small bags of LITE kettle corn!). Also - I THIRD the thin mints!
I eat eggs because they're healthier, but DAMN - some banana chocolate chip pancakes sound good right about now!
Why, oh why, did I not realize that you can't bake pizza on a cookie sheet? Soggy, uncooked, and GROSS! I'm a New Yorker - pizza crust should be thin and crisp!
