Father's Day Giveaway: Win a Two-Pound Cowboy Chop

Ribeyes. One year for Thanksgiving we hosted, and instead of a turkey, everyone got their own ribeye stuffed with pancetta and brie. Way better than turkey.

A Dog's View of Throwing Up: Infinite Food

Yes, both my dogs act like this. If one throws up, he eats it again, or the other dog will eat it. Dogs are weird. And gross. I also have a smart dog and a simple dog, and they act exactly like Allie's dogs.

Weekend Giveaway: 'How to Cook Like a Top Chef'

Loved the grocery store quickfire. I used it as the basis for a dinner party and everyone had a great time with it!

Cook the Book: 'Fiesta at Rick's'

I'd love to attend a party at Jonathan Waxman's to see if he's got any Star Wars stuff at his house.

San Antonio Restaurant Recommendations?

If Boudro's is too crowded, go to Zinc - they're owned by the same people.

For Mexican, I'd suggest La Fogata, Paloma Blanca, and La Fonda on Main.

The Sandbar is awesome. It's a tiny seafood restaurant right next to Le Reve, same owner.

I second Taco Taco Cafe. Afterwards, you can stop at the Olmos Bharmacy for a Guiness milkshake and some fried pickles.

Cook the Book: 'Top Chef'

I would make my favorite comfort food - baked mac & cheese. There's chicken, walnuts, mushrooms, and a roux of gorgonzola, white cheddar, and bleu cheese. Topped with scallions, this is divine.

For a dessert, I would make rice pudding with lemon zest. It would be a carby, heavy entry, but everyone would be bursting with happiness and cheese.
