minstrel - totally agree. I'm 23 and single, so I felt totally not part of her audience! But funny enough, I was way more down to make her recipe than Jeffrey's.
I have an awful confession to make. Jeffrey's hair and his signature LA-orange skin tone really really REALLY bother me.
If Melissa toned it down and was less intense she would be even better!

Confession: I once drove 25 miles at 2am to Canters because I was craving that pastrami so badly. One of the only places I've had pastrami that gets close to Katz's!

Directions say:
8) Bake them for 10 minutes. The centers will look soft and puffy; that's OK.
9) Remove the cookies from the oven, and cool them on the pan for 10 minutes before transferring them to a rack to cool completely.
