Nick, when should the ginger be added? I presume it's after the onions. I find the mustard seeds must be added after the onions, in order to prevent them from popping out of the pot. Also, 1 serrano pepper does not provide a noticeable kick; I found that 2 is more appropriate.
Those differences aside, love the recipe!

Saveur is one of the best magazines out there, regardless of category. But as someone above noted, each issue is usually focused on a singular topic. So on its own, it may not suffice. But it's the best. We've subscribed to most of the other popular mags, but we now get just Saveur and Gourmet.
