Do you have a recipe you won't share?

I'm ready to make a lot of enemies here.

Do I have a recipe I won't share? Yes, loads of them. Are they secret family recipes passed down? Nope, not a one. So why won't I share? Let's see. Why doesn't everyone else spend hours on end in the kitchen testing out different recipes trial-and-error style until they finally come up with a winner and then I can hound them? Oh yeah, I forgot. All your recipes come from Rachael Ray and from the back of a box. That's why. And not only that, but the people who can actually cook/bake pass off the recipes as "Mike's Famous Apple Pie" or "The Smith Family's Secret Ingredient Chicken Casserole." I don't get any credit for providing the recipe or for any up-front work I've done to evolve it even further. So if I'm not a part of the equation, I'm not a part of the equation. Therefore, no recipes for you.

By the way, I used to fume about this issue and try to "forget" to give out recipes, but I think I've just decided - just now - that I'm going to be consistent from here on out about using the passive-but-well-loved professional approach of tinkering with the ingredient list and directions. Then everybody's happy! Good luck in the kitchen.
