I second bouillabaise- Mere Germaine in Villefranche-Sur-Mer is awesome, but expensive. If you like seafood, it's a must have!
Make sure to have lunch at Mirazur in Menton. Beautiful views, gardens and food! In Nice, try the socca- it's a chickpea crepe served hot with olive oil and lots of pepper. Great gelato at Fennochio with tons of interesting, local flavors. Bon appetit and bon voyage!

Sorriso's sandwiches can be hit-or-miss and they are almost always underdressed. I recommend the Goodfellas if the Focaccia looks fresh, and the California Turkey Club with extra sauce. Also, anything with Spicy Capicolla.
Not at all surprised that Laduree takes the cake, but I would say my next favorite is Little Oven! Their cherry blossom macaron is heavenly :-)

I work in Long Island City and have been wanting to check out Little Oven for some time. Your article inspired me, so I went today but alas, there was not cherry blossom gateau. The salesgirl told me that I had to preorder, which seemed wrong. I did try their macarons though- yum!
I like ordering stuff from the "local" section- Ronnybrook milk, Red Jacket Orchards juices, and some of the local produce. The Pat La Frieda patties are great, and their deli selections (they carry brands like Schaller and Weber) and seafood is always excellent. I also find that they have great deals on wine. Since some of their stuff can be expensive, definitely shop for the Presidents Picks and anything on sale. Also, look for free shipping coupons online.

I'm addicted to the Noodle Curry and the Pad Se-ew from Thai Pavillion. Does anyone know of a place that does those dishes better than TP?
Most of my favorites have already been mentioned but here are a few more to add to the list: Taverna Kyclades for amazingly fresh seafood, Watawa for the best sushi in Astoria, Sal, Kris and Charlie's the Sandwich King for awesome heroes, Little Morocco for an award-winning merguez sausage sandwich, Ornella for the Imbustata....oh, I could just go on and on!!!

L'escure French butter- it has detectable crystals of sea salt, and and slightly cheesy flavor. Delicieux!!!
I haven't experienced any noticeable difference in terms of dryness/texture, but I have found that fried turkey has a blander, almost sweet taste. I prefer the herby flavor of roasted turkey.
Wow, this is hard- although it's not very Thanksgiving-y, right now the Potato Gratin with Porcini Mushrooms and Mascarpone Cheese, from 'Bon Appétit' is sounding pretty amazing.
I find that the Trader Joe's Dijon mustard has a nice, sharp bite to it that I love- Maille and Grey Poupon seem tame and buttery in comparison.
If you are a grape soda fan, you must try Boylan's Grape Soda! It's so delicious- still has that artificial grape candy flavor, but somehow more intense and less cloyingly sweet than the regular stuff.
You should go to Tortilleria Nixtamal in Corona, and make sure to get some yummy carnitas!

Breakfast was amazing everywhere we went in Turkey. We usually had a huge buffet with all different types of cheeses, jams, fruit, egg dishes, cucumber and tomato salad, olives, hot pepper spread, breads, pastries, coffee and tea, etc. Quite a feast!
