Schnitzel Burger from Schnitzel and Things Truck

@kwijibo: "The entire thing is breaded and cooked all at once.. No pre cooking :)" says Schnitzelator-in-chief Oleg.
Schnitzel Burger from Schnitzel and Things Truck
Was this thing pre-cooked before being breaded & fried or was the entirety of cooking done in the fryer?
Schnitzel Burger from Schnitzel and Things Truck
WOW. this internal disagreement is making me MORE interested in the Schnitz burger.
Schnitzel Burger from Schnitzel and Things Truck
@Adam and capndesign (aka the Donald Downers): Geez! Was it really that bad? Maybe I was hallucinating or just incredibly starving, but it was BREADED and DEEP-FRIED MEAT. How bad can those things be. Though I will honor the burger purist argument (that it was anatomically not an actual burger) this assessment seems a smidge harsh. And for the record, Robyn is on my side.
Schnitzel Burger from Schnitzel and Things Truck
Dude, I don't need to try this anymore.
Schnitzel Burger from Schnitzel and Things Truck
This thing was ass. WTF.

Kids Can Make Dumplings More Slowly with Bandai's Gyoza Maker
It looks like a ravioli maker. I guess kids might enjoy it because it looks like something that would come with a tub of Playdough.
Honestly, I think the pleats come out much nicer when done by hand. I made my first batch not too long ago, and I loved the pleating. This "machine" takes that aspect away.
Kids Can Make Dumplings More Slowly with Bandai's Gyoza Maker
I just make pork shu mai dumplings with pork and gather up all the edges and leave the tops open. They work great.

Bandai also has a home-Pocky making machine and a sushi roll maker.
They're both colorful, plastic and make things that are dubiously edible.

how neat! I would totally get one of these; it puts the "fun" in functional.

What a fun gadget--looks like it'd make a nice gift for a family who likes to cook together!

That girls only thing is really outdated. Come on Bandai!
I do love their food toys :-)
Kids Can Make Dumplings More Slowly with Bandai's Gyoza Maker
My husband's really pro at making gyoza...with this, there IS hope for me.

I had a machine similar to that when I was younger but it was totally meant for rolling something to be smoked, not eaten.

I love this! I have a piggy cutting board, too... but i tend to use mine for a cheese board when we have people over. :)

This makes me sad the same way I get sad when I sing the "this little piggy song" to my daughter. "This little piggy went to the market; this little piggy stayed home." Does that mean one got butchered and the other one was spared? :-(

My mom has a pig cutting board. She made it in high school in shop class...it's my favourite to use if I can stop thinking about how old and contaminated it is :P

I love this. And the cleverly placed parsley sprig finishes it off perfectly. :-)
