Cook the Book: 'Vegetable Literacy' by Deborah Madison

brussels sprouts, caramelized, deglazing with sherry vinegar and adding a little Dijon. Adding diced sweet potato, bacon, and a fried egg to make a hash - that's all optional.

Cereal manufacturing.

This is more of a curiosity question than anything else: how are Crispix and Chex cereal made? I sort of assume there are two thin sheets of dough that are cut cross-hatched, then laid one on top of the other, cut, and cooked (not sure fried or baked), but if anyone has more specifics, I'd love to know!
