Max, I am a big fan of mango lassis. I typically make them using canned mango pulp and also use rosewater. Have you tried this recipe substituting ~1.5c canned pulp?

@wilson as childhood Detroiter who has since moved on to locations which say "Detroit-style" what? one gets gitty over even the idea of being able to buy a detroit style pizza locally, even albeit bad. Buddys, Cloverleaf and Buscemis and (La shish) were my favs.

Having said that, good Detroit style is one of the easier homebake pizzas in my opinion. A bluestone pan helps!
