Love the recipe! Can't wait to make a veggie version. The narrative of south east Detroit where I grew up is great. I'd love to see your take on two other Detroit faves; 1. Coney dogs; in particular the chili (beef heart key) 2. Detroit style pizza; guest food lab appearance by Adam Kuban?
There is also degrees of accuracy for volume measuring tools. Class A graduated cylinders, to contain, to deliver. I would guess there is a fair amount of variability in home volume measuring tools. Knowing when accuracy or precision is required is the key.
@matt_katz Dave Arnold @cookingissues received a statement from SC Johnson Co that Ziplocs are low temp cooking safe up to 85 C.
Thoughts making the dough more stuffing-like? to add more "stuffing" flavor. Stuffing is my family favorite veggie VG item... ideas apprechiated

Fuddruckers, when I was eight.
@wilson as childhood Detroiter who has since moved on to locations which say "Detroit-style" what? one gets gitty over even the idea of being able to buy a detroit style pizza locally, even albeit bad. Buddys, Cloverleaf and Buscemis and (La shish) were my favs.
Having said that, good Detroit style is one of the easier homebake pizzas in my opinion. A bluestone pan helps!
When Can I get the taco shells darnit!?
