Children's Book Giveaway: 'Chopsticks'

I have no clue of its name, but it's this *thing*: made out of wood, looking like a giant chopstick that never separates, with two chops-like limbs that happen to be flat. Weird looking but oh-so-helpful when getting bread out of the toaster!

Bake the Book: 'Momofuku Milk Bar'

Wow, OK -
Looks: Taking the clean, modern style of the bakery in the movie "It's Complicated" and giving it a more eclectic, funky spin.
Location: Debatable, could be New York, Montreal or Boston.
Ideally, I'd be working with a different genius everyday of the week (Monday I'd invite Tosi, then Tuesday can be Falkner...and so on).
Ugh, again, why can't this be real?

Scooped: Speculoos-Stroopwafel Ice Cream

Funny, in my house we always called them Speculaas and we could only get them once a year when we went to Aruba. Until today I had no idea there was such a thing as "speculoos spread", thank you!

Some years ago I read (I think it was in Reader's Digest) about a study they did to a group of people attempting to lose weight. Those that kept a food journal lost (in average) twice more weight than those that didn't. The change of using a scale every two, three weeks is very wise. I'm using the app "Lose It!", but it is kind of "obsessive" the way it counts calories! Anyway, best wishes!

Dulces: Tres Leches Cake

I absolutely love tres leches cake! I'll be making this is one, however, I know I'm already biased because my mom makes an awesome tres leches. Not only that, my godmother makes a killer cuatro leches as well, yes, four, by supplying it with dulce de leche on top!
